The Notesmaster platform required a brand refresh and a UX update to rationalise the user flow and make the site mobile responsive.
We highlighted the brand’s core values: vibrancy, communication and open learning, and translated that into a refreshed set of brand guidelines. This included an updated logotype, imagery guidelines, new palette and use of typography.
The user flows of the platform were then examined, evaluated and rationalised. This process allowed a complete simplification of every process while maintaining functionality. Tasks such as viewing a subscribed group suddenly became a click away as opposed to four or five.
We upgraded the site technical architecture to the latest Symfony framework, and replaced all front end frameworks with Angular to increase speed and robustness.
The change from the ground up has been extremely well received by the client, industry peers and users.
The project recently won the World Summit Award for innovation.
